I like your concept , but i am not someone who can comment on digital or allegorical art.I like the cool colour pallette and the surreal feeling, eeriness it creates.
I just keep coming back to see your gesture figure drawings….also like the cross hatching works. Want to see more and more of your work.
Lovely sketches, truly inspiring for others !
Like the flow of lines,rythms..so much of life and energy with so minimalistic marks!
Nice work, like the cool ,well balanced colours.I think some of the forms ,like supra orbital ridges, forehead ,quite well depicted.
What catches my attention…is that on the left side of forehead, in the shadowarea, colour looks bit muddled. Also, just behind the lower rim of right glass and in right side of lower neck, the shadow areas appear bit misplaced and unnecessarily draws attention of the viewers.
Hope to see more nice works.
Thank you for your kind and inspiring words, much appreciated.
Yes,do agree, that the right thigh of the child looks a bit odd,i should have been more attentive towards proportion ,and making my own interpretation rather than following the original photograph rigidly.
Great work! I like your style and previous works as well..bold strokes in charcoal with acrylic paint (in previous works) …very expressive.hope to see more.
Regards.
Thanks.

I used General charcoal and conte 2B charcoal pencil on tinted regular sketch pad of A5 size.
Hi
Nice sketches.
I would only cooment on the second sketch, where i feel that the squeeze and stretch in the torso, could have been emphasized more, with more overlapping forms, and wrap over lines to accentuate the forms. The axillary folds in left arm pit, stretching of the left pectoralis need to be more well demonstrated.
Thanks and best regards.
Lovely work!the composition reflects so much of elegance and grace-i also like the way you joined the large shadows maintaining the tonal gradation.
Hope to see more of your work.

Thank you for your kind comments.I think potrait drawing for beginners by Chris legaspi is helpful, he talks you through the entire process, not diving into intricate details of anatomy (like the russian course, which i feel would be for more advanced artists).Besides i have seen some of the lessons from constructive head drawing by Glenn Vilpu(i try to watch all his courses, his methods of overlapping forms using simple shapes , even for figure or animal drawing or head drawing courses are simply great and applicable everywhere ).I have heard that Steve Huston course of potrait drawing is also a celebrated , famed course, but i am yet to watch it.
Hope this helps.

Many Thanks,helpful.
Would you be able to suggest which is the ideal course for potrait sketch on NMA?
There are just too many good courses and at times it becomes overwhelming ,getting confused where to stsrt with?Regards
