@pauldidier Hi Paul, thanks a lot for the feedback! I was working on just screen size canvas with big brushes so there was almost no detail. And I cropped it
@ramonarosalewski Thanks Ramona! We are thinking the same. Last night before I went to sleep, I decide to make the shoulder narrower and added a little bit of the muscle texture. While I still don’t want it to be the visual focus, the back slightly more interesting now. But maybe after I got to the back torso part I’ll make it more distinguishable. The only reason why I’m hesitating is that: dude is a ghost, and I want him to have this feeling of ‘vague, exists in one’s memory only, so we don’t see clearly’ (as if I paint my own face without ref, I’d probably be off with details) Where’s that balance tho I have to maybe experiment a little bit more.
I’ll set this thing aside and take another look with a fresh eye in a couple of days.

April 29, 2020 at 2:43 pm in reply to: Peihong’s 100 day Challenge – diving deep into anatomy #497970okkk so I’m supposed to write paper today but I spent too much time playing around. And there’s no anatomy today 😛
Anyway. Here’s to my friend Chemex ( a coffee maker), I accidentally killed him one night when I was in the kitchen. I was drinking water and when I lowered the cup I hit my Chemex so it’s broken and dead now.
RIP my Chemex. :P. I planted some green onion in it.
Material: procreate on iPad pro
I’m not a hundred percent happy with it yet. Suggestions are welcome.

Day 15: I did some plate copies from morpho. Those ar the twisting and turning stuff I don’t learn by drawing 3D models.
Kudos to you Mr. Bustos. Really helpful information!
Hi Shazad, I think you’ve improved a lot in two weeks! Keep it up!
April 27, 2020 at 1:42 pm in reply to: Peihong’s 100 day Challenge – diving deep into anatomy #494440I think my major complaint is that the chin could be a tad bit wider. And the cast shadow under the trapezoid darker. Or just use a pencil softer than 3B next time for those. And that was day 14. So I’m almost at 1/7 of the challenge!

I put it there in the first place and I think some of it got wiped away by my hand while I was rending and I didn’t darken it again.
Day 12:
So I was zooming with friends for too long and now really tired. Only did some small scale plate copying & drawing without rendering. Only the 2nd drawing on the left was from the 3D viewer, The others are plate studies from Morpho.
Day 6(2) is amazing!!
