Thank you, Gavin… I did’t know the “box logic”. Great advice, I appreciate it.

Bravo.
Thank you so much for your critique and suggestions. It is very difficult for me to get to the next level and “not be a slave” of my reference photo. Your feedback is very helpful, and I really appreciate it!

I will work on the background, I like the idea of lowering the horizontal line and clarifying the shape between the photo and the face.
Yes, I’m still trying to figure out the hand and arm, I found it quite difficult at the moment.
Thank you again Laura for taking the time.Such a great idea the 10 brushstrokes. I really like the essentiality and still harmony of your “Be Free” (also perfect name). Brava Sandra!

Hi Joshua! I’m sorry about my newness regarding this great opportunity of receiving critique… I’m not sure at all if the post I’m replying to is directed to me. 😊
If so, I have no idea how to create a new thread (?)
In any case. Thank you and stay well and be safe 😇
Hi Joshua, I’m so looking forward to to your critique… A real gift in this unthinkable, terribly difficult times.
This is my second oil portrait. I feel stuck into my inexperience… After this, I start doing some drawings try to understand proportion… but I really would like to go back to oil portraits.
