I really like the addition of white highlights to this sketch. Lots of very nice details on the nose and ears. You really used the texture well to imply stubble.
I love the way the painting is developing, but have to confess I also liked the original post with some detail and shading, but other “unfinished” parts.
Giving myself a pass on drawing “fine art” today. I’ve been doing cartoons as art therapy, documenting my cancer journey with an attempt at humor. It has improved my mood a lot, which is important when they tell you you have Stage 4. Focusing on things I love that are worth healing for. And in cartoons I can make myself younger and cuter 😆
Did the watercolor a while ago. Dancers always seem to give the illusion of being longer than normal proportions. I’m messing around with the clay to give a 3 dimensional impression. No hurry though 😁
I think you’re doing great with getting the line of the poses. I need to watch some of the classes you mentioned and do more practice drawing from the model library. I wouldn’t change your challenge—it looks to me like you’re making fast progress.

For some reason, some of my photos post horizontally instead of vertically, and I can’t find the editing tool to change the orientation. Am I missing it? (Wouldn’t be the first time).
Cool idea! Love your use of colors.
Cool idea! Love your use of colors. I think you look a bit like Jane Austen or Charlotte Bronte (can’t remember which) in your portrait.
I can’t figure out how to rotate the photos. Started this bas relief a long time ago, lost the source photo, so found something similar and revised his pose accordingly. Not sure the foreshortening comes across correctly 🤷🏻♀️
