    Hi Erik! Thanks for the welcome. I started watching that one, and I think it’s excellent. I’m also watching An Introduction to Drawing Fundamentals with Sheldon Borenstein – lots of very good advice there for someone with no real art training.

    I have started with An Introduction to Drawing Fundamentals With Sheldon Borenstein and Portrait Drawing for Beginners. I actually started the latter first, but soon realized my skills just aren’t there yet. I decided to take a step back and re-visit some fundamental aspects. I’m so glad I did, I’ve watched maybe half an hour and have already picked up stuff I never knew about. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Sheldon Borenstein also happens to be very entertaining!

    I get your feeling of being overwhelmed. I feel like I should be taking several courses at once – there’s just so much to digest! I decided on Portrait Drawing for Beginners and I think I’ll also look at Sight-Size Drawing. Look forward to seeing your posts and drawings.
