Thanks Elena! I do studies and drafts for my paintings and I do find myself getting the acceptable result faster. So I guess, yes? 🙂 Meanwhile, the more I learn, the more problems I see. :)))

Hi Zhi, really nice sketches and studies. I enjoy your drawing skills and your use of color. It’s very bold and unique. #57 stands out for me. The composition almost makes me feel like an abstraction. Very eye catching.

Really beautiful work Zhi. From looking at your posts, it looks like watercolor is your preferred medium? I’ve only tried watercolor a few times, but I found it difficult to control the flow of the water and be accurate. It’s really impressive how you are able to get the small details so well.
Thank you Bryan. You are right about water control. My art journey started with watercolor, so I have more mileage with that medium than others. However, whenever I spent some time drawing or painting with other material (acrylic etc.), I have trouble going back to watercolor – making the water works. 🙂
