    Goal: Do at least one portrait or figure sketch, drawing or painting a day. Most of these will be after free photos online, from NMA library or videos from Croquis Cafe.

    Hi Zhu and welcome. Great start to your challenge. Lovely colours. Nice effect of the portrait feeling like she’s receeding into the background. Not sure, but the relative positioning of the eyes, nose and lips feel slightly off center from each other? Looking forward to your posts.

    I don’t know it’s my browser or it’s NMA site. The usual tools for me to upload my pictures are gone.

    Thanks for providing the link to your day 3 work. Again, another lovely watercolour piece. I’m keen to learn how to paint with watercolour. NMA is going to release a watercolour course with Mark Westermoe! 🙂
