Jo’s 100 days above the shoulders

So my goal is to sketch or paint things to do with faces and heads every day for 100 days. I’m going to keep it flexible and will put a date on each page because I will not be able to post every day as I have a whole bunch of stuff to juggle, but am pretty sure that even if its just a few Loomis heads or something like that I can find the time to do the drawings. Day One will be tomorrow 5th November 2021.

Day 1 starting small

Day 2 – was going to be noses – but I got interested in this profile.

Day 3 – I’m starting to realise that this is such a good discipline – to work fast and post whatever you get in the time available – I think this is what Steve Houston means when he says make a lot of starts.

Day 11 – urgh, I hate this one but I’m out of time today

Day 14 – well I started a head but it turned out so bad I didn’t want to post it – so I chickened out and did an eye instead.
