Day 33 – Really struggling to draw anything worth uploading tonight – just haven’t got enough time to sort this out , so here is a mouth

Day 34 – After a really busy day at work, sitting having a go at this has been very relaxing – very much work in progress though as I am now exhausted! Another 3D model head side view

Day 35 – why was the mouth so small on day 34? Mouth and nose study tonight

Day 36 – Well I was really pleased with this block in and shadow mapping – hours later I have rendered it and it is just awful!! Nightmare! Anyway – glad I took a photo of this first stage before it  becomes apparent how wrong it was… The eyebrows are at a different angle to the bottom of the eyes, the nose is OK and I’ve ripped the paper at the mouth line because I have re-aligned it so many times… sigh… tomorrow is another day….

Day 39 – I’ve never really found the Loomis head that helpful, so I am looking at another method where you start off with a boxy shape rather than the circle – feels better to me.

Day 42 – Oh why is this getting harder and harder – nothing I have tried tonight has been worth posting at all, but this is the best of a very bad bunch of faces…. argh – one step forwards and two steps back…
