I really like the first drawing, even though a clear focus is missing. It’s just pleasant to look at.

Here are the points I think are worth improving. The forearm across the back seems odd to me. I checked the reference.Your right shoulder is much higher up, that makes the upper arm seem longer and then the forearm seems to short. The feet are too small. Left and right shoulder need more of a line or flow that connects them. The left shoulder neck line just would make for an odd neck. And last, the hands. I know they are hard. If in doubt I always try to wash the hard lines out a bit or put them in a general halfshadow. It is a very nice picture, thanks for sharing.

Hey, I saw this in recent uploads and it right away caught my eye. I think the colours work really well. The composition too. i would like some more light and shadow. Maybe just the trees and clouds a bit lighter. i think it’s gonna be really good alrady when you fill in the rest of the trees. I like the character of the main cow, but I struggle a bit with the anatomy, it seems to me like it’s tipping to it’s left side.

Youre self portrait is awesome. It shows a lot of improvement I think, much more confident shadow and light! I think one can also see it well as your profile picture, where one can’t get lost in the details. It has a nice flow. I maybe would wish for abit of a lightpoint or sparkle in the eyes still. Well Done!

 

@Nma: This Image is displaxed to me impossibly big, couldd there be maybe a solution to adjusting the pictures to the frame of the window?
