Thanks for your comment on my thread, Jean-Pierre! You asked me if the perspective helps for the figures and the heads and I would definitely say yes. As I am still not very familiar with the box shapes in the figure, the perspective part cannot be applied well in this case yet, but with regard to heads my spatial sense has improved!

You say that the already feel an improvement and as you will continue, this challenge will pay off even more!

With regard to the anatomy and proportions, I also have to revisit the anatomical concepts again and again and every time my understanding improves a little bit.

    Just keep going!

Great work. Remember that the toes come backward as you move from big toe to last. Even if you draw the foot from the front try to figure out some way to show that they aren’t on a straight line.

    28. Today I tried to apply rendering such as approached in Steve Huston’s figure drawing course. I’m glad I tried, and will encourage myself to go on that way.

    29. Today I made quick sketches, to work on my gesture and the simplicity of lines. My 5 minutes drawings absolutly suck, it’s hilarious. It’s funny on purpose, of course.

    30. Quick studies after Lauricella, for a better understanding of articulation.

You are really attacking this challenge! It’s great how you’re boring deeper and deeper into the structure and exploring it from all angles. I especially like your quick sketch on the 6th. Way to capture the arch of the foot!

Nice pen sketches. I can see a lot of improvement.
