Very nice, Christina! I am mesmerized by her eyes and I just love that one touch of light on her lower eyelid. Overall I think it is a beautiful work and it makes me look forward to get to that part of the course too. The last one I did was the Jennifer color demo.

About points to improve, I agree with the previous comments and I think that the cavicle ends much closer to the shoulder, so by adjusting that maybe the painting would feel nicer too. And now I think that the body color could resemble even more of the reddish face colors. Maybe it is a bit too green. What do you think?

Anyway, congratulations! It is a very nice painting in my amateur opinion haha

This is really nice! I like the way you used the reflected lights at the bottom and the smooth transition between lights and shadows! It seems to by a small piece (given the size of your signature), am I right? If so, I find that the amount of information you were able to put into such a small piece without complexifying it is really nice! I usually get lost in the details unnecessarily hahah.

I guess this is the right place to post the course lessons, so here it is!

This is the portrait for the first lesson! What do you guys think I got right and what should I practice more?

I used oil on a wooden panel primed with acrylic gesso. Not the best option as the surface was a bit rough, as you can see in the picture. But I still liked it.
