First of all: I like it a lot. Especially the choice of motive.

I understand you will move on. This post is mostly to let you know I´ve seen it, and cared, and, like Mike I would love some more traffic in this forum, as I find them quite helpful 😉

My only comment would be that the surface then brick is lying on is tilting a tiny bit to the right. If you went for solidity, laying on the horizon might give it more “grounding”. Then, on the other hand, it was quite interesting to watch a solid object with a rather dull (as in “not shiny”) surface with this contradictory quality.

Hi Mike, I like your versatility, the way you are playing around with styles, materials. Also the gesture, especially in that 15-min. drawing. (I tend to stiffen and mess them up the longer and more detailed I go, so this looks impressive!). If you want any hints, I would advise to put in some extra work in perspective and proportion.
