These are cool. Working from imagination is so difficult for me. You seem to have a gift for it. Josseline suggested a book I was going to mention. “Framed Ink” by Marcos Mateu Mestre is really great.

Playing with direct drawing in ink. Then I did some pencil to ink. All are copies from Hokusai’s series of manga.

Nice. I’ve avoid zigzagging lines like that because it doesn’t read as shadow or a flat tone. You’re better off filling it in solid or using hatching that is more even.

Love these Hokusai sketch studies! I really enjoy doing these kind of master studies.

I’m not dead.

I’ve been doing my challenge every day, but  I usually only have time at night, and often I don’t have time to post before passing out, and then the day get’s ahead of me. I will post my days here momentarily.

BTW, Thank you Josseline, I think master studies are a great way to develop good taste.
