In week four, instructor Joe Altwer will show you how to create a color study for your still-life. You will practice premixing colors, blocking in, and making adjustments. Then, Joe will demonstrate the initial drawing of the final painting, starting with the contours and then filling in the shadow mass.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
