In week five, instructor Joe Altwer will begin his still-life painting of non-reflective objects against a dark background. You will focus on blocking in the background and dark masses. Joe will then define major shapes and slowly build the values of the painting.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
