In week two, Steve Huston will guide you through an analysis of hand drawings by Old Masters such as Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Albrecht Durer. You will learn to break down the gesture and structure of these drawings and understand how compositional elements are used to express conceptual ideas. Steve will then demonstrate how to apply this knowledge with timed pose drawings.
Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
