In week one with instructor Kathleen Quaife-Hodge, you will take a first look at the definition of animation. She will introduce you to all the materials needed to start your animating journey. You will learn about peg bars, papers, lightboxes, field guide, color pencils, etc. Kathleen will also teach you the importance of the exposure sheet and quickly talk about cels.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.

You do not need to purchase specific materials to take this course.
