In week 12, instructor Moritz Moser will guide you through the process of creating a hand sculpture in marble. You will begin by using the measuring tool to establish the correct proportion. Moritz will then demonstrate how to carve out the large masses of the hand and begin refining the wrist. You will focus on the block-in process, giving you the foundation to build upon as you continue to refine and detail the piece.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
