    How do you get the shading to look both scratchy, neat and smooth at the same time? It looks fantastic. When I use a harder pencil and get scratchier look shading, it’s very untidy.  And what grade of pencil hardness/softness did you use?

    I’m from England also, first time using NMA. Joined recently.

    I think blogging would be good, in this forum. Keeps you accountable and you can see your progress and get advice from others.

    How long have you been drawing?
