In week four, instructor Mike Mattesi will introduce you to a concept used in FORCE drawing called the leading edge. You will learn how the model moves in space and decipher the actions required to create the pose. This technique is useful in animation and often employed to create movement and motion. Mike will also demonstrate how to utilize blind drawing, the experience of looking at the model while sketching with your hand in tandem.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
