In week six, you will learn the laws of light and shadow. Instructor Steve Huston will lecture on how light casts on a figure and helps you visualize the body in three dimensions. You will watch Steve demonstrates how to create graphically pleasing shadow patterns in your figure drawings and explore the benefit of working on toned paper.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
