In this lesson, instructor Sheldon Borenstein demonstrates the basics of drawing still life objects. You will study the importance of still life drawing, and how it will benefit you throughout your artistic career. With a series of colored pencils, you will learn how to loosely sketch the shape and structure of each still life object. Then, Sheldon will show you how to refine your sketches by drawing on top of them, using contour lines and shading.

With his 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry and teaching, Sheldon will help you start your artistic career on the right foot. He will also share with you his favorite tools to use while sketching.
