In week eight, instructor Amy Florence will teach you how to further develop a life-size portrait painting using the sight-size method. You will focus on designing the shapes of the hair and the folds of the garment to help guide the viewer’s eyes to the focal point. Amy will also show you how to be selective while adding details to the shoulders and neck.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
