In week five, you will learn rendering techniques with willow charcoal. Instructor Chris Legaspi will show you how to prepare your tools by breaking them into different lengths to create a variety of mark-making. You will find that willow charcoal is easy to control and can give you very soft edges, unlike many other mediums.
