In week two, instructor Michal Suffcynski will demonstrate how to paint an organic still-life from observation. You will discover how to analyze lighting effects and plan your composition with a graphite sketch. Then, you will use fluid medium to preserve those effects. Michal will teach you how to build up your painting in watercolor and utilize a variety of painting effects.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
