In week three, instructor Joseph Todorovich will walk you through the beginning stage of a long-pose figure painting. You will watch him create the initial drawing of big masses and proportions on his canvas. Then, Joseph will focus on developing the main focal point of his painting; the portrait. You will learn how to create volume on forms and how to play with color temperature.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
