- Lesson Details
Our Daily Life Drawing Sessions are engaging, timed reference videos that are freely available for artists wishing to hone their figure drawing skills using images of life models. In an exciting update to this popular resource, we now feature demonstrations by your New Masters Academy instructors! In this second installment of the series, master artist Glenn Vilppu accompanies you, focusing on Daily Life Drawing Sessions. Glenn provides commentary on these poses and elucidates how the foundational elements of gesture and structure remain consistent across various mediums. He demonstrates his techniques using a fountain pen, watercolor, and pencil.
To enhance your learning experience, we recommend participating in the drawing sessions on your own before watching Glenn’s demonstrations. This practice allows you to evaluate your artistic decisions and compare them with Glenn’s approaches, fostering a deeper understanding and skill in figure drawing.
