In week one, instructor Steve Huston will teach you a structural approach to drawing the landscape. You will learn how to apply the two crucial aspects, gesture and structure, in building your landscape art. Steve will talk about the importance of silhouette as well as the play of symmetry vs asymmetry in composition.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
