In week two, instructor Leo Mancini-Hresko will continue with his portrait drawing of a live model using the sight-size method. You will practice adding the highlights using white chalk to better judge the values of the overall drawing. Then, Leo will teach you how to take your time to develop the halftones and model the forms of the face.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
