In week two, instructor Marc Dalessio will guide you in selecting landscapes to paint from life. He will start by demonstrating painting a scene with clear foreground, middle ground, and background elements. Afterward, Marc will take you on a tour of outdoor locations and explain the suitability of each subject for painting. Finally, you’ll learn how to create thumbnail sketches in your sketchbook.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
