Class Description

In this Live Class, legendary Artist, and Art Director Bill Perkins will guide you through the foundational principles of composition through his course Composition for the Visual Artist. He will first introduce the key elements of composition, applicable across both traditional and digital mediums. Through this Live Class, you will witness first-hand as he demonstrates the techniques that have underscored his illustrious career, and employ them in creating compelling artworks that offer a persuasive experience for viewers. In addition to imparting theory and techniques, Perkins will personally critique student submissions, providing invaluable insights and targeted improvements. By the end of this course, you’ll have the tools and knowledge necessary to enhance your compositions, adding depth, balance, and intrigue to your visual storytelling.
