In week two, instructor Charles Hu will guide you through the process of painting a still-life using only black and white. You will learn to create a setup to work from life. Charles will demonstrate how to mix colors and separate your still-life into different values. You will discover how to block in and establish the lights in your still-life painting.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
