Master draftsman and painter Danny Galieote analyzes and draws from a seated male figure-study by Italian Renaissance master Jacopo Pontormo. First, you will learn how to block-in the figure using your knowledge of rhythms, angles and tilts of the simplified forms of the body. Then , you will see how to breakdown and study Pontormo’s line quality and forms that are wedging together to create a beautiful sculptural drawing.
