    Hello, here is m’y présentation.

I am a francophone and I live in Montreal. For a little time now, I have the opportunity to draw regularly and study drawing.

Generally, I prefer by far, the works drawn by great artists (example: Eugène Delacroix, Gustave Klimt) than their painted works. My favourite Pen and Ink artists are:
    –       Among the ancients: Albrecht Durer, Rembrandt, Gustave Doré, Goya’s drawings.
    –       More recent: Egon Schiele (his lines are magnificent), Edward Hopper (he has made very beautiful works in etching), Paul Klee, the works of the German expressionists Woodcuts (for me, there is a link between the Woodcut and the Pen an Ink) Erich Heckel, Lyonel Feininger, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Käthe Kollwitz.
    –       20th century: Charles Dona Gibson, James Montgomery Flagg, Heinrich Kley,
    –       Contemporary: I know very few, but I really like Aaron Blaise.
Je suis une débutante qui adore le dessin. Voici quelques petites tentatives.

    Dear Mr Sheldon Borenstein,
I am outside my country (Costa Rica) and unfortunately I never get to see your course live because I give French classes at the same time. I’m sorry. But your comments are very valuable to me.
