Jan!! thank you! I really appreciate your comments, I definetely see your point! I think I’ll darken the left side so that the outline on her trapecius and neck dissapear, I hope that’ll do it 😀 thanks for your kind comments and your critique 😀

Hi Carlos, thanks!!! yes you are absolutely right! the hair should be darker, I’ll try to do it without getting too heavy on the pencil, thanks for the advice!!!

It’s a great drawing and it has a lot of character, the only thing I would recomend is to add more dark values to create a more “round” and lustrous feeling

Hello Elaine, this is a nicely excecuted exercise I agree with Carlos on the early placing of the figure so that you can have more control on the overall design, also I would recomend mixing beforehand your general values so that you have at least  different steps from dark to light, I hope this helps 🙂

@Ayden Diel thanks!!! yes I see that the eyes are just a bit too small, I guess if there’s to be a difference it would have been better if the eyes were a little too big maybe that way the drawing could be more flattering or expressive… I found out the eyes being small almost at the end of the drawing and I was reluctant to erase and start over… should have done that because now it bugs me  😛
