In this series, Glenn takes the New Masters Academy team out of the studio and into various environments for on-location landscape and figure drawing. He demonstrates techniques for drawing with gouache, graphite, and fountain pen.

In this lesson, he focuses on point-to-point drawings and thumbnails for backgrounds and foregrounds.

Glenn loves to use Moleskine sketchbooks because the paper is smooth and it can handle a moderate amount of water

Looking forward to this course as my first nma course.  I have plenty of journals and pencils.  But I have to blame Glenn for getting me hooked on fountain pens, when he talked about using his ‘Namiki Falcon’ pen.  I love that pen, but cleaned it a while ago and haven’t been using it..  think I might have to refill it for this course and get using it again.
