Watercolor potrait sketche after NMA lessons :any critique appreciated

This is a very nice piece. I would never had guessed that you were just learning watercolor! I really like your technique and the color choices, and the colors seem to really support the structure of the face. As far as suggestions, the eyes seem a little off to me. They may be a little high in relation to the ears and slightly too close together, although that could be the model (my eyes personally are closer than the standard eye width apart). The left eye also seems a little large. None of that detracts from the painting in my opinion, though!

Hi Alva  interesting portrait I was wondering if the background could be lighter and warmer particularly the side not in shadow .
