    Old Bridge in Acrylics

    I am new to painting and am having trouble with acrylics. The paint dries much darker and the colours look dull. Can I have some constructive critism please?

    I have painted with acrylic paint for many years. The last year I have used Golden Open. This is the sort I prefer and use now. Especially I like that they don’t dry so quickly (the Open quality). I also feel they have a better glow than others I have used before.

    Hi Ann lovely painting nice use of colour and atmosperic perspective

    Maybe you could tweak the tonal values

    Mostly shadows

    Re the medium I think you have done well

    Very nice painting relaxing and pleasing to the eye
