    I’ve recently signed on to nma to improve my art. I’ve been drawing and painting for about 5 years. I do a wide range of subjects including landscapes, portraits etc. This is a painting of a caesarian birth, so rather dramatic. I would be interested in getting some some independent analysis.

    Beautiful Painting! caught my eye. Here are some compositional feedback I drew. Besides simplify the folds on upper right, we can Aslo group few of them. There are bit too many light and shadow  “Breaks” in that area which makes them feel isolated. That same “Breaks “appear on new born”s right shoulder, make it fell detach. I really like the intensity and emotion you gave to the painting.
