Learning how to paint

Hello! I’m trying to take the step from drawing to painting but workign digitally Im finding it hard to find useful resources here as far as how to start, the choices offered digitally are so overwhelming, here are a few paintings I did and I have been focusing on avoiding color picking and using simple strokes much like a sketchbook rather than a finished piece, feedback and digital specific advice is appreciated.
