    Hi all, just sharing a recent painting that’s still in progress. I was hoping to get a bit of feedback on the overall impression, what works, what doesn’t. I’m not very advanced and this is the first attempt to paint outside, looking down off my verandah. I’m not really trying to paint realism, but it always seems to end up looking more realistic than expressive. Any tips on how to simplify and move towards greater expression and develop mood/atmosphere would be very helpful. Thanks
