Hi, I’m Mike from New Zealand

I’m 38, born in England, grew up all over New Zealand.

Now live in a small country town near Wellington.

I’m mostly a writer (novels, screenplays, theatre), game designer, filmmaker, coder and digital product developer and a consultant.

But I started out in art as a cartoonist, did a 2.5yr post-grad diploma in 2d digital art, cartooning and art direction.

I’ve only started to flex my art muscles since early last year, 2019.

I began with wanting to evolve my cartoons and get into production design for film and video games. and do game art.

I’d also like to do concept art – character design and visual development/environment design.
