Hello everyone!

My name is Matt, I’ve been a tattoo artist for a few years now. I love what I do and am always doing what I can to progress, and so I’ve joined NMA in the pursuit of becoming the best artist I can be! I’ve started water color/spit-shading about a year ago and have been doing it on and off, and occasionally I use copic markers.  Here is a pigeon I tattooed on one of my customers. I love pigeons! I do mostly bold, simple, traditional tattoo style art, but I figured I should try changing things up for a bit to grow as an artist. Learning more about and practicing anatomy, proportion, perspective, etc can only help, right??

Hey Matt!

That’s awesome! It can never hurt to learn traditional media and the fundamentals, even if you don’t necessarily need it for trad style tattoos. Looking forward to seeing more of your work! 🙂
