Hello, I’m Dan. A rank beginner in Colorado. I mostly enjoy plein air painting, but at my level, it’s more about a good day outside than really creating anything worthwhile. I bought in on the 50% BF discount, hoping that in a year I can absorb enough. So far, what I’m enjoying is plein air landscapes and still lifes, but eventually I’d like to move into figures. I’m going to start with some of the drawing classes (A Beginner’s Guide to Drawing) and then move from there, can anyone suggest an order of classes? Looking forward to participating as I can!

    Hi Daniel

Welcome the beginners guide to drawing is excellent, it’s not “easy” and perhaps the term beginners can be misleading I just do plein air and still life using just pencil ( steadtler lumonograph) they are excellent and charcol plus white pastel I think this would be a great foundation for painting  which I feel can be far more complex  particularly  watercolour

    Have fun

    Tim
