I like the class but is it just me or does the instructor go way to fast to follow. I have to watch at half speed sometimes.

That’s why we added speed controls. Some instructors draw more quickly than others and you can easily miss the technique. I recommend you draw along, set the speed to what is comfortable and rewatch it multiple times.
