Hello,
I’m on the 3rd video of Erik Olson’s Perspective 2 and I’m confused about the stationary point being a 45 degree marker for a vertical line in 1 point perspective. The term’s a ’45 degree declined auxiliary point’.
Also I don’t understand how the 45 degree diagonals travel forever to the stationary point or reference point along the horizon line (depending on which diagonal – horizontal or vertical – we’re talking about).
Any ideas on where I’m going wrong with this?
