i’ve made this charcoal study of adam from a photo posted online by the hawthorne artist society in melbourne australia. i would appreciate your comments and suggestions. thanks! hans

Hi Hans  what great expressive portrait I love the energy in your Mark’s and sense of texture in the face the eye is very beautiful and you have a painterly fleshy feel to the features skin and  lovely mood

I found the right arm distracting a ( the bicep) and also  the composition as it moves to the left arm  is doing somthing to the neck chest  which is probably correct but ” narrowing ” I really like this piece of art, but in essence would like to see composition tweaked sorry to be vague ,but  what need tweaking is subtle .
