    Hi all,

I wish to work as a character artist for a video game industry. I am new to this field. I researched online and found out, to be better at this field one must have a great understanding of the following skills (please correct me if I am wrong):

    Traditional:

    1. Gesture and Structure.
    2. Perspective.
    3. Anatomy.
    4. Value.
    5. Color.

    Digital:

    1. Photoshop.
    2. ZBrush.

I have been practicing basic shapes and do it as a regular practice/warm-up everyday. I am currently watching “Beginning Figure Drawing” by Steve Huston and love it. I would appreciate some help on the concerns I have listed down.

    1. Am I heading in the right direction?
    2. What videos/courses would one suggest to achieve the above?
    3. Anything else that I should do apart from this?

P.S: English is not my native language, please ignore my grammatically wrong sentences.
