In this lesson, master draftsman and painter Danny Galieote will develop a drawing of the female head on mid-toned paper. You will learn how to block-in the major shapes and facial structures with a constructive approach, creating three-dimensional form by applying subtle tonal transitions that follow the rhythms and planes of the face. As your drawing progresses you will learn how to achieve a final dramatic effects with dark accents and white chalk.
